01 / The build

Behind the project.

Used a HackRF One transceiver for satellite reception and RF security research. Built a quadrifilar helix (QFH) antenna for the NOAA polar-orbiting weather satellites' APT downlink and decoded the transmissions into weather imagery. On the security side, captured and analyzed sub-GHz ISM-band keyfob transmissions with Universal Radio Hacker (URH).
